Looking For A Guest On Your Podcast?

I’m an AI Executive Producer and founder and CEO of Synima, a global video and animation production company with offices in London, Amsterdam, New York and Los Angeles. I founded the business 25 years ago, and still retain operational control and creative oversight of production. My team produce work for Fortune 500 clients including J.P. Morgan, HPE, BlackRock, European Commission, Honeywell, Pfizer, Novartis and Siemens.

As your guest I’ll happy to discuss how AI video production is reshaping politics, culture, media and specifically social media platforms. I’m comfortable talking about any aspect of AI including AI-generated video, avatars, deepfakes, how creative AI workflows affect the production process, how AI alters the relationship with brands and advertising and PR agencies.

As much of my work is in psychological health, I can speak about the growing role of AI in wellness, loneliness and relationships, including what Esther Perel has called “artificial intimacy.” This includes AI companions, the psychological impact of synthetic relationships (including with the deceased), and the implications for younger generations growing up alongside these technologies.

All podcasts I feature on will be promoted across my social channels.

My Own Podcast: 'AI Script To Screen'

As featured on

Background: A Career in Media and AI

My father was actor Bruce Boa (Fawlty Towers, Empire Strikes Back, Full Metal Jacket).

I began acting and presenting in film, television and radio. Nominytaed for a BAFTA in 1996 . I joined the BBC and worked within  the camera dept in light entertainment (TOTP, Noels House Party National Lottery). I founded  Synima in 2000 which has become a global production agency. With the advent of AI I have branched out to become an AI executive producer and consultant.

My Parallel Career in Psychotherapy

I became a UKCP-qualified psychotherapist nearly thirty years ago and my interest in the inner life has only grown. My work draws on philosophy, psychology, neurology, nutrition and exercise. These disciplines help me understand the many ways people make sense of their lives and the forces that shape their behaviour.

AI: A New Challenge for Society

Working across healthcare and AI has revealed something uncomfortable. While there are lots of positives, AI also  risks becoming a genuine threat to the business of society and culture. The risk is not that AI can replicate human presence. The risk is that it slides into every unattended space. Social media and mobile phones have already created a vacuum. AI is now likely to fill it with avatars, chatbots and personalised feedback.

What I Hope To Share on Your Podcast.

As a guest on your podcast, I hope to provide an informed and engaging practical insight into how AI video production ‘works’. Discuss the risks and opportunities of generative AI, and provide more understanding and perhaps even challenge your audience.  What are the tools AI might provide vs what are we exposing ourselves to?

This approach ensures productions are delivered on spec and on time.  To see my full portfolio click here.
